The Lamps of Consciousness

In ancient philosophy, illumination did not begin in temples of stone but within the awakened mind. This chapter introduces the idea that consciousness unfolds through four movements of creation—origin, expansion, transmission, and manifestation—mirroring the structure of the cosmos itself. Through the metaphor of lamps being lit within the human mind, the chapter presents a central Hermetic insight: the same light that orders the heavens also awakens the human heart.
